Haas Pharmacy

Medication, Vitamins & Supplements Information (Updated for Kayitz 2026)

For Kayitz 2026, Camp Ramah in the Poconos is again partnering with Haas Pharmacy to safely provide campers with prescription and over-the-counter ORAL medications, vitamins, and supplements.

⚠️ Important: Taste of Ramah and International Campers do NOT use Haas Pharmacy.
Medications for these campers must be sent directly with your child.

Please read the information below carefully if your child will take any medication, supplement, or vitamins daily or as needed at camp

🔄 How It Works

All ORAL medications must be ordered through Haas Pharmacy, including:

  • Prescription medications
  • OTC medications
  • Vitamins & supplements
  • “As needed” items (e.g., allergy pills)
  • Liquids and orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs)

This ensures medications arrive safely and on time at the MARP (Health Center) and are ready on opening day.

📦 Packaging Details

  • Medications are packaged in blister packs
  • Clearly labeled with camper name, medication name, RX number, date, time, and instructions

🩺 Haas Pharmacy CAN provide:

  • EpiPens
  • Topical medications
  • Eye drops
  • Nasal sprays
  • Inhalers

(While we recommend ordering everything through Haas, these items may be sent with your child.)

🚫 Medications NOT Provided by Haas Pharmacy

Haas Pharmacy cannot provide:

  • Refrigerated medications
  • Specialty or compounded medications
  • Accutane (isotretinoin)
  • Birth control pills
  • Growth hormone, biologics, allergy serum, insulin

These must be sent or brought to camp before or on opening day:

  • Must have a current prescription label
  • Pack refrigerated items in a cooler
  • Include all supplies needed for administration (needles, wipes, injectors)

🩹 Camp provides ibuprofen, acetaminophen, TUMS, Benadryl, decongestants, and Miralax.
You do not need to order these through Haas (but you may send your own if preferred).

🍬 No Gummy Policy:
Haas Pharmacy does not package gummy medications or supplements. Please choose a chewable, non-gummy alternative.
