Our Programs
Taste of Ramah
Taste of Ramah 2027 is designed for campers entering 2nd or 3rd grade in 2026-2027
- 2ND GRADE in 2026-2027: Eligible for our Taste of Ramah 2027 one-week program (July 25–August 1).
- 3RD GRADE in 2026-2027: May attend either the four-week First Session (June 21 – July 18), OR the one-week Taste of Ramah program (July 25 - August 1) in 2027.
The 7-day Taste of Ramah program is filled with a variety of camp activities, including sports, swim, climbing, cooking, arts and crafts, woodworking, dance, music, Joyful Judaism, and more! Taste campers experience the independence of living in a bunk community, and a beautiful Ramah Shabbat provides a meaningful and relaxing highlight of their week at camp.
The campers live in bunks with counselors and are supervised by their own Rosh Edah (Division Head) and supported by Yoetzet, a member of our camper care team. Meals take place in the Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall) where everyone experiences the Ramah Ruach (spirit), especially during Shabbat. Each evening campers have specially designed Peulot Erev (evening activities) and the day ends with their counselors and other camp staff sharing a pre-bedtime story or song with the campers before lights-out.
Families can either drop their child off at camp at the start of Taste of Ramah or opt in to transportation from the Philadelphia area. All families pick up their camper on the closing day, which allows families to see camp through their child's eyes, enjoy a delicious camp lunch, and attend a presentation to see a glimpse of what their child learned during their time at camp.
